A new chapter…

…in the history of PlasmaSelect AG has begun.
Since July 8, 2009, PlasmaSelect AG goes by the name of aligna AG.

Allow me to provide a brief illustration of our reflections on the matter: through our new name and our new, more modern corporate identity, we intend to visually underpin the restructuring process of the group, thus symbolically supporting the launch of aligna AG; the former PlasmaSelect AG has indeed experienced the most permanent transition in its company history so far.

In 2007, PlasmaSelect AG was still structured one-dimensionally as a healthcare group with a focus on the production and sale of infusion and rinsing solutions as well as complementary medical products. Today, ten years after its founding, I am proud to present the “all-new” PlasmaSelect AG in the form of aligna AG, an industry holding company with an attractive portfolio of investments in the healthcare and new technologies segments.

The name aligna is derived from alignment.
Thus the name aligna fits perfectly with our new business model, whose foundations are based on value-orientated corporate development.
