In 2007 the company was still structured one-dimensionally as a healthcare group with a focus on the production and sale of infusion/irrigation solutions as well as complementary medical products. Today, ten years after its founding, the new aligna AG is presenting itself to you as an investment holding company with an attractive portfolio in the Health Care and Water Treatment segments.

Through our new name and the new, more modern corporate identity, we also intend to visually underpin the restructuring process of the group, thus symbolically supporting the restart of aligna AG; the holding company formerly trading under the name PlasmaSelect AG has indeed experienced the most sustainable transition in its prior company history.

The name aligna is derived from alignment. Thus the name aligna fits perfectly with our new business model, whose foundations are based on value-orientated corporate development.
